Are you interested in entering the Life Between Umbrellas competition but uncertain about how to get your amazing ideas down on paper? Join us at Carnegie Community Centre for a fun, friendly design workshop where you’ll receive support in creating your submission to the design contest.
At these workshops, we’ll help you develop:
An idea to make a new or existing public space (such as a plaza, street, sidewalk, laneway, parklet, or park) rain-friendly; OR
An idea for a rain-friendly pop-up activation (e.g. an event or interactive installation) in a public space that will help build a more positive culture of rain-friendly activity, fostering social connections in the rainy months.
There are three dates to choose from: Friday March 22, 29, and April 5, 2019
Time: 1:30 pm-3:30 pm
Location: The Learning Centre (3rd Floor)
DTES Community Members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Please RSVP by email to reserve your space at one of the three hosted workshops dtesartsgrants@gmail.com
