For the Life Between Umbrellas contest I created a rain cover that has solar panels. The cover includes a waterfall at the front for people to enjoy. The waterfall leads to a rock lined swale which leads to a rain garden. The rock lined swale will also have a water storage tank which will run the waterfall even if itisn’t raining. Finally, the solar panels on the rain cover are used to produce the electricity needed to circulate the water. I worked on this all by myself including the SketchUp drawing and I’m only age 9!
